Being a parent is wonderful and challenging. Being surrounded by other parents can make a big difference.
That's why our 33-odd Parent Leaders are running informal local weekly activities throughout Waitākere since 2014, and now, since 2017, in Kaipātiki - so people parenting children under five can meet and share experiences and support.
We’re looking for Parent Leaders in Kaipātiki, too!
We have now starting creating stronger social connections in Kaipātiki too - Glenfield, Northcote, Beach Haven, Birkenhead and surrounding areas.
If you live in Kaipātiki, are parenting a child or children under 5, and are interested in holding small weekly activities in your neighbourhood, we want to talk to you about becoming a Parent Leader.

We have weekly parent-led activities happening in Avondale, Laingholm, Swanson, Henderson, Glen Eden, Massey, Ranui, Te Atatu, West Harbour and Kelston. We've got new activities starting all the time.
